Our Services
A little more about what we do...
The saying "animals are the best therapy" really is true! We believe all animals have special super powers and an innate ability to understand us and how we feel.

For many years, dogs have worked with humans in a variety of roles, but now, more than ever, they are being used to help support us in so many ways; guide dogs, hearing, medical assistance, medical alert & therapy are just some of the incredible jobs they can do.

I am an accredited dog trainer with The Dog Training College, and along with my brilliant dog, Nelly, we are now qualified with PAWS Therapy Dog Training. This means as a team, Nelly and I, can offer animal assisted interventions (known as AAl). Using our skills and training we can work with individuals or groups. This could be helping a child who is struggling with confidence at school, or a small group of children learning about dog body language and how it may relate to their own emotions.....the list is endless!

We also offer fun talks & assemblies to schools and clubs to educate children about safe behaviour around dogs.

We'd love to hear from you if you think we can help in any way!
Our services
Individual or small group sessions
Carried out within an educational setting, working with tutors and students, we can support an individual or small group of students to improve concentration, confidence and attendance, using specific techniques and strategies. Our specialist training means we can also help support students achieve meaningful alternative qualifications in a variety of subjects.
Educational & interactive talks & assemblies
From schools to community clubs, we offer fun, engaging talks using props, tricks and Nelly to demonstrate. These are age appropriate and we aim to tackle subjects that cover safety around dogs, animal welfare and dog body language to name but a few. The idea is for children to gain a better understanding of dogs and their behaviours.
Programmes to help with dog phobia (Cynophobia)
Individual sessions for children or adults, using specific techniques that will help them understand how and why they suffer with Cynophobia. The end goal is to significantly reduce the fear by teaching coping mechanisms for the future.
Care home visits
From comforting canine cuddles, to teaching Nelly new tricks and even taking her around an indoor agility course - we encourage all care home residents to join in with our fun sessions. We take mobility and mental capacity into account, and tailor our sessions accordingly.
We find these sessions improve mobility, encourage conversation and there is always lots of laughter!
Day workshops and holiday clubs
Fun sessions covering lots of subjects, such as; body language, enrichment, ladder of reactivity. Sessions will include dog themed games and activities as well as lots of time working with Nelly.
Support for individuals to access the community
We are keen to offer service for those that struggle to access the community, for example due to severe anxiety, and feel a canine companion could help. This service does need to be planned so Nelly can offer the best support possible and build a strong connection with the individual. From coffee shop outings to hospital appointments, it can all be made possible.
Special "Doggy Days" for families who cannot own their own dog
For those families who love dogs but for what ever reason can’t have one in their home. If we can help in anyway to either make a day out even better with Nelly being in attendance, or just some canine cuddles at your home please let us know.
